Hello! I am Kai Wang, a Chinese astrophysicist studying
the formation and evolution of galaxies, and how it is
related to the large-scale structure in our own real Universe
and numerically simulated universes. I’ve always had a mind that jumps
quickly between ideas, but for me it has been a source of curiosity,
creativity, and momentum. It pushes me to follow unexpected
connections, to ask unusual questions, and to build research projects
across disciplines and techniques.
A brief look at where I come from, the path that shaped me, and the curiosity that keeps me moving forward.
An overview of the questions that fascinate me and the scientific work I pursue to answer them.
A collection of my academic work, collaborations, and the ideas we have contributed to the community.
Slides and recordings from talks I’ve given at conferences and seminars.
A space where I write informally about science, ideas, and things I find interesting.
